The restaurant is housed in a 15th-century palazzo that once belonged to the Bailiwick of the Knights of Malta — so here you dine inside a piece of the town’s history. In the kitchen is chef-owner Angelo Fiorisi, who practises what he calls New Lucanian Cuisine: local produce and recipes reinterpreted with contemporary technique.

It has been in the Michelin Guide since 2021 and is also recommended by Gambero Rosso and the Touring Club: it is currently the most highly acclaimed restaurant in Venosa. Closed on Mondays; on Sundays lunch only.
