Cantina di Venosa

Founded in 1957, Cantina di Venosa brings together more than three hundred and fifty members farming about eight hundred hectares of vineyards: it is the largest cooperative winery in Basilicata and on its own produces more than half of all Aglianico del Vulture.

Its wines include Carato Venusio, an Aglianico del Vulture Superiore DOCG awarded 5 Grappoli by Bibenda 2026, and Gesualdo da Venosa. A new wing with a tasting room and a panoramic terrace over the vineyards is under construction and will expand the welcome for visitors.
